PCF Golf Tournament Celebrates 25 Years
Oklahoma City, OK, Sept. 8, 2021 — The Putnam City Schools Foundation will host its 25th Annual charity golf tournament on Monday, Sept. 20th, at The Greens Golf and Country Club.
“Thanks to the generous businesses and individuals who have supported the tournament over the years, hundreds of thousands of dollars have been raised to benefit children and families in Putnam City Schools,” said Charmaine Osborne, event chair and Foundation Trustee. “Our goal this year is to raise $20,000. Proceeds will support the Foundation’s core programs, including Early Birds school readiness classes for families, STEM labs, and classroom grants for teachers.”
Starting with lunch and registration at 11:30 a.m., the tournament will follow a four-person scramble format. Golfers can partake in fun games along the course including “Closest to the Pin” and “Hole-in-One” contests in which participants have a chance to win a $10,000 shopping spree at BC Clark Jewelers or a 2021 Volkswagen from Oklahoma City Volkswagen. Winners of the team competition will take home prize packages, as well as bragging rights for next year’s competition.
Remaining spots for participation are limited, but still available. More information about the Foundation and tournament registration can be found here or by calling (405) 495-5200 ext. 1205.
