PUTNAM CITY SCHOOLS FOUNDATION APPOINTS OFFICERS
Oklahoma City, OK, Jul. 18, 2018 — The Putnam City Schools Foundation appointed a new slate of officers during their annual retreat in June.
Among the new officers is Chuck Thomas, regional vice president at Sodexo, who has been named chairman of the board.
Thomas said he is most excited to finalize and implement the strategic plan which the Board of Trustees hope to complete in the fall semester.
“Our board is comprised of a passionate and committed group of professionals who value the excellent education that Putnam City Schools provides. As we evaluate the needs of the district we know that the strategic planning process will guide us in determining opportunities for growth while continuing to meet the needs of our students,” said Thomas.
Besides Thomas, the executive committee includes Michelle Nisbett, International Pentecostal Holiness Church, Vice Chair; Dr. Laura Garrett, Epworth Villa, Treasurer; and Lawrence Fugett, New York Life, Secretary.
Other members of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees include Roy Bishop, American Fidelity; Morgan Brammer, University of Oklahoma; DiAnne Bryant, Community Volunteer; Jeannie Carter, CrossFirst Bank; Immediate Past Chairman Roger Cude, Water’s Edge Winery; Manisone Hubbard, First United Bank; Michael T. Leake, Jr., Wiggins Sewell & Ogletree; and Jason Pierce, OK School Pictures.
Advisory Board members include Jamie Elmore, Bank of the West; Sarita Johnson, Citizens Bank of Edmond; and Brad Poarch, Cory’s Audio Visual.
