I am involved in the PC Foundation because I want other children to have the opportunity to receive the same education that my children have received from Putnam City .My family has been blessed with AMAZING educators, administrators and coaches who not only wanted to educate and inform my children, but that truly cared about their well-being and development as human beings. Additionally, as a PCN graduate, I want to ensure that Putnam City continues to be a leader among school districts in the state of Oklahoma.

I view the PC Foundation Board as an opportunity to give back to the school district that has shaped the person I am today.  Putnam City High School not only prepared me academically for college and eventually, graduate school, but its extra curricular offerings fed my soul.  Mrs. Kersey's leadership class and Mr. Hardesty's student council class are where I first learned about active and compassionate leadership.  Mr. Wilson's debate class taught me how to think critically and realistically about a legal position.  I met lifelong friends and created some of my most cherished memories while at PCHS.  I hope that by serving on the PCF Board, I can help ensure that other students are able to have the same experience at all the schools in the Putnam City District.

Because I care about the district and the students. Our family has had many students and graduates going back to about 1959. We also still live in the district and want to keep it a 'shining star.'

I have had the pleasure to be involved both personally and professionally with the Putnam City School District since 1990.  I was proud to have my two sons attend and graduate from Putnam City Schools. With no children in the District, I was looking for a way to keep connected.  I believe joining the PC Foundation Board and supporting its mission to enhance and enrich educational opportunities will give me this opportunity.

As the father of two children who attended Putnam City Schools all 12 years, and as a property owner in the District, it is important to me that all students attending PC schools have the resources available to them to maximize their educational experience.

As state support of education is being reduced, along with increasing federal mandates being placed on state and local district budgets, it is more important that a source of funding for particular activities and disciplines be available to the Putnam City District.  The Foundation provides that funding source, and can act in hours, rather than months or years, to address a pressing need.

I am a strong believer in public education.  I attended Putnam City Schools from kindergarten through high school and am thankful for the many opportunities that this District gave me. Now more than ever, public education needs the support of local businesses and individuals.  I am honored to be a part of this organization so that we can continue to offer those same opportunities to many more students in the future.

Over the last 18 years, I've seen my wife Katherine support the Foundation and be honored by it. The Foundation provides increased opportunity for all patrons in the Putnam City Schools. It is my privilege to be a trustee.

The future of our country is totally dependent on the education of our youth. This particular board covers a demographic where any additional help is badly needed. I believe in the PCF’s mission and its leadership.

Educating our youth is one of the most important tasks in building a successful state and country.  I believe in Putnam City and the PC Foundation, and I believe that  the commitment that PCF has to our students, teachers, administrators, and staff is paramount in carrying out the herculean task of educating tomorrow's leaders.  I look forward to working with the District, students, parents, and the community in route to accomplishing the goals ahead.

I am a PCHS graduate and currently have 3 kids in PC schools. This is an incredible school district that has had a great impact on me and on so many other people. I am just excited to be able to help the schools, teachers and students in our amazing District.
